Camp for All is a 75,000 s.f. camp for children and adults with special needs. Our client is a foundation comprised of individuals from several large Texas Medical Center institutions and Houston corporations. The project site in Washington County has strong rural German and Czech architectural influences. The design of the camp is based on an interpretation of that architecture to create a fully accessible camp for all participants without the stigma of an institutional appearance. The camp allows various established organizations for persons with cancer, cystic fibrosis, epilepsy, multiple sclerosis, etc., to have year-round access to a facility specifically designed for their physical, educational, and recreational needs.

Chapel

The Chapel was designed to be image centerpiece for the camp, and the peaceful setting has become a favorite place for those seeking a quiet and reflective atmosphere while attending camp.
