Educational | Completed in January 2008, Avondale House is a 33,000 s.f. school for children with autism. The project site, near the recreational Stella Link South Campus, is linear, with broad street frontage designed to allow for efficient access by school buses and vans. Interior elements reflect the needs for durability and economy, while the colorful concrete stains provide a sense of playfulness for this active learning environment.
